I promise! I usually post a new essay every week somewhere between Sunday night and Wednesday morning but here we are on Wednesday night. I have one in the works... it has been one heck of a week. I have no complaints -- it's good to be this busy as a music teacher, but it takes over my entire life when it gets like this. Between the big recital last week and proudly accompanying my student to one of the town's most popular open mics plus lessons, I have not had a day off in the last 15. Luckily for me, tomorrow is an actual day off because nobody wants music lessons on Halloween, nor would I force the issue.
